A form of art to me is photography and sometimes a big part of photography can be editing the pictures. A great program for this action is Photoshop! I was able to learn a lot of new skills like putting an image into text, giving a pixel effect, and double exposure. Here are some examples of my work: These 3 were my favorite skills to practice and I feel they were pretty successful. I think they cme out really nicely and if I practiced some more, they can look even more professional/clean. However, I did run into some difficulties along the way. Some problems I encountered were complications with layers and tools like Colors and Sharpening because I would always get them messed up then not know how to fix the mistake. However, I was able to fix them quickly by asking others around me, researching, or just restarting. Most of the times, I was just on the wrong layer.
I feel like I felt the urge to make these types of photo edits because these are the ones I will probably use the most in the future. I definitely feel I learned a lot through this unit in class and will be using these skills in the future to accomplish a variety of works and products. For example, I can use these photoshop skills when creating a poster or when completing a school project. It will definitely be able make any poster or project a bit more special or "spiced up". Photoshop is a program that can be used in many different ways to complete a wide variety of projects, by people of all (almost) ages. I think it would be great to be able to know the basics of this program for the future. You should definitely try it out once in a while as well. :)

This winter I had watched (as well as re-watched) many of my favorite movies and I thought I'd review some of them. Watching movies with friends or family during the winter is one of my favorite things to do :)
The Robinsons: A very nice animation movie that has many sweet and sad moments. Nice plot twists and conclusion. 8/10 Hwarang: A historical k-drama set back in the times of Silla, an ancient kingdom that thrived until the 10th century. It is about a huge group of people trying to be chosen as the "knights" to protect the kingdom. Along with many plot twists and side stories like: the hidden king, betrayal, and romance. 10/10 Goblin: Another k-drama with tear-jerking moments (trust me), comedy, and fantasy. It has some historical background but it's mostly modern. This drama has a lot of theories, past life and reincarnation stuff going on. It causes you to think a lot but I've enjoyed it so far! 10/10 Doctor Strange: One of the best movies I saw with my friends at the theater. Lots of suspence, huge action scenes, and a hint of humor. This movie was also themed off of optical illusions, mind games, and tricky theories. 10/10 (Like I said, these were my favorite movies so pretty good reviews) How was everyone's New Years? Wow. It's already the end of 2016 and the start of 2017! For me, this is going to be one of the toughest years, as it's the ending of Middle School and the start of High School and to keep me ready for this year, my oneword goal is: Non-Procrastination. I feel I procrastinate a bit and a key to be successful is no procrastination! My word of advice. I really hope I can stick to this goal and make it through 2017.
